Linda Mannheim is the author of three books of fiction: This Way to Departures, Above Sugar Hill, and Risk. This Way to Departures was shortlisted for the Edge Hill Prize, the UK’s  award for short story collections.

Linda’s work has appeared in The Nation, Granta, Catapult Story, 3:AM Magazine, Ambit, Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, and Sight & Sound. BBC Witness and KCRW Berlin have broadcast her audio work.

She has been awarded grants and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Authors’ Foundation, and Arts Council England. Originally from New York, she divides her time between Berlin and London and is a researcher at the University of Westminster.
